Somebody else holds the admin role.
Managed Microsoft 365 administration on the flat per-person plan: tenant admin, licences, onboarding and offboarding, mailbox and Teams support.
Microsoft 365 Business Standard includes access to Microsoft's own support, which in practice is a portal, a queue and an article that assumes you know what a tenant is. For an office with nobody whose job is IT, that is homework rather than support.
The work that actually comes up is small and constant. A mailbox stops syncing. Somebody leaves and their mail needs forwarding and their files need moving before the licence is released. A shared calendar will not share. MFA locks out the one person who cannot afford to be locked out. None of it is hard if you do it every day, and all of it eats an afternoon if you do not.
So we hold delegated administrator access on your tenant and do it. You stay a global admin on your own tenant and can remove us in one click.
What is covered
Included in the base plan. There is no separate Microsoft 365 administration fee and no per-mailbox charge.

- Leavers: mail forwarding, file transfer, then the licence released
- Licence changes, including moving somebody between Business Basic and Standard
- Mailbox permissions, shared mailboxes, distribution lists and aliases
- Outlook profiles, OneDrive sync, and Teams membership problems
- Password resets and MFA lockouts, including the ones that happen at 8:55am
Not included
- Exchange running on a server in your office, which is server management
- Migrating to Microsoft 365 from something else, which is project work
- SharePoint site architecture and Power Platform development

Questions on this specifically
Is Microsoft 365 support really included, or is it an add-on?
Included. It is one of the five things the base plan covers, and there is no separate administration fee or per-mailbox charge. Servers, backup, network gear and phone support are the add-ons, and each has a published price.
Do we have to buy our licences through you?
No, and you should not have to change vendors to get support. Keep buying direct from Microsoft or through your current partner. We take delegated admin on the tenant regardless of who bills you for the seats.
Do we lose access to our own admin center?
No. It is your tenant and you stay a global admin on it. Our access is delegated, visible in your audit log, and revocable by you without asking anyone.
Can you audit what a previous provider set up?
Yes, and usually we should. A first pass to find the shared mailbox nobody owns and the ex-employee account still holding a licence is part of getting set up, and it is not billed separately.
